              The instructions are "picture only" and this could be difficult for some people to follow. All the parts were in the box and once the first bookcase was put together it was easier to put the second together. Overall, this is a great looking piece of furniture for the cost (I have the desk too and love it except for the top drawer which is flimsy and can't hold much in weight without the bottom falling out).
