very happy we got the hutch part of the desk. adds more storage and makes the desk look complete. the design is also very attractive. perhaps the best part is that its very affordable compared to comparable desks on the market! This desk is a good value considering alternatives (which may lack sturdiness and storage capacity)

I brought this product along with the other aspects of the collection (hutch, L-shaped 60" desk, and filing cabinet). It is a great space saver and the overall look and quality after it is done is higher in comparison to other types of cheap, compressed wood furniture. However, except for the hutch, don't expect to put this piece of furniture together quickly like other cheaper models. Electric screwdriver and protective gloves are recommended. The back attachment to this piece is flimsy and I tried more than 45 minutes to align the right door properly by removing all of its parts completely to tightening the screws but to no avail could I get it to align straight with the frame. Very frustrating since it is an obvious flaw. Currently using a screw for the door to sit on when you close it so it is not noticeable. Oh well.

The directions are horrible, you are only given pictures which don't really match and there is no written instructions. The quality of this piece was not as good as the desk we bought. The upper cabinet doors are difficult to level and line up. And the "wood" backing is just cardboard with a vinyl woodgrain pattern on it. It does look very very nice with the desk, the hardware does not look cheap, and the glass doors have the opacity exactly as pictured. We were moderately pleased with this piece.
