          I won't knock just the Quill equivalent generic cartridge, because I have never found a generic that worked as well as the Canon cartridge. Like most people, I find the cost of the name brand close to prohibitive; but in the end, the quality and longevity of the Canon cartridge outweighs the poor copy quality and short life span of the generics.
