This is a very good product, however, too expensive. Will use remanufactured products in the future. Quill is a very good company with great service. By planning ahead, the remanufactured cartridge is about 1/2 the cost. Unfortunately, I purchase the remanufactured cartridge elsewhere.

It's the new drum in each toner cartridge that gives it both high print quality and high price. I have previously suggested that Canon recycle used units into new ones to save us cost, but they only encourage garbage recycling to save the environment -- $170 to 190 at a time. Also, the toner seems to deplete quickly and unforgivingly. My Brother laser toner lets me shake and reset it almost endlessly, while this Canon's "prepare new toner" will not reset, gives you some additional, then allows a couple of shakes before it will white-streak the print. That's a lot of expensive toner and drum going into the garbage. I would recommend this to a rich friend only.

The Canon equipment that uses this toner was originally used as a copier only. Now it is being used as a fax machine and printer as well as a copier. The toner has performed well. It is a bit pricey, but it lasts for a good time. It is easy to install and the installation is not messy like some toners. Overalll it is a good product.
