My supervisor's Cannon printer used Quill Brand ink cartridges as I wanted to save on cost to the office. His printer ended up with an ink-spill that marked all paper coming out of it. I was told by the Cannon Customer Service Rep. that it should only use Cannon Brand cartridges to avoid ink spills. That is the reason I purchased these packs. The price is still high and I don't think they last as long, but at least the pack is a little less costly.
