The Canon copier I have always had is great. The only thing that bothers me...and this is with any printer... for what goes into a printer cartridge... the cost is ridiculous.

        The Canon all-in-one printer, Pixma MP 990, works great with my wireless Laptop at home. It also produces wonder photos with great detail. The print speed is surprisingly fast. The LCD screen on this machine is huge and I love to print pictures by looking at them first. It uses a lot of ink when using the best quality setting. When an ink tank needs to be replaced, it lights up and flashes, so there is no mistaking which one to remove from the printer and replace. The ink tank is then completely empty, so no ink wasting

          I love Canon ink-jet printers and have had five over the last 10 years. I have never had to replace one due to failure. I have replaced them to get improved features and better technology. I print all my photos on a dedicated Canon i9900 photo printer and the quality and resolution is truly outstanding. I am currently using a Canon MX870 all-in-one in my home office. It is particularly useful as a scanner. The only complaint I have (which is probably not unique to Canon) is that the ink cartridges do not seem to last very long. However, they are very easy to install, are not at all messy and have never failed.

          Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
