Canon inks are ridiculously priced, but their printers are the best quality I have found, so there it is. At least now Staples will recycle Canon cartriges- for years I had to recycle them via on-line companies!

The Cannon twin package with photo paper is an excellent value. My use of this printer/ink was infrequent and shifted to a much higher level adding business use. First as a secondary printer then elevating to a daily use print and ink set. Since there is a heaver work content it would be nice to see different packaging options such as 2 black 1 color or 2 color 1-black added to the current twin pack mix. I suppose the promo offer could be standard twin XL package with a discounted extra black or color option.

I like to buy this combo because you get the free photo papers that has very good glossy quality. Also, I am pretty happy with the print color quality. I have the canon printer for more than 2 years and love it. I just hope the ink cartridges could be even less expensive so I can stock up for all my print out, children's school projects and photos

    I've found that the generic refills aren't nearly as good as the original "name brands" when it comes to quality and cartridge life. Using them for our business, we can't afford to be exchanging cartridges because they are faulty, or not as advertised.
