        There should be a package that includes a large black option. I run out of that long before the small black that is included in the package and end up with a backlog of small black cartridges.

        Ink is just too expensive.

        The replacement is quick and easy; the life span seems to short for the cyan and yellow. I usually print in grayscale, but they run out fast anyway...can't understand why. Otherwise, I have been greatly satisified with the Cannon cartridges, but would like to see a price reduction...also, I appreciate the ability to recycle the empties at my local store - Thank You! (and a rebate credit is an added bonus!)

            I use this with my MP-860 and cartridge life is long for the number of documents and photos I produce.

            The downside is a factor of programming, not cartridges, but the failure of imaging to discern between black and color for black in and producing in three-color is ridiculous.
            Would I recommend this to a friend? Who ever bases a printer choice on the cartridge type? Does the manufacturer even consider reusing a cartridge over creating a new reservoir? We only need one size.
            Besides the four-pack, Canon also needs a five-pack that includes the 220 tank for consolidated purchases.
