Ink cartridges are fine and clear, but I do think the price is unreasonable. They have to be replaced often and it can get real expensive for someone on a fixed income like myself.

          i ordered on line. Used their compatability option. It listed ink choices. I was going for a box with more ink to buy, and save some cost in the long run. I have a Canon IP4200. This was listed as compatabile, but when arrived, and I did not notice in the description, all the colors, that are not used in my printer. Thought it would have an interchange paper in the box.
          Went to return to store, and was going to loose the credits I applied for ink returns. Person at store gave me credit on other itmes.

          I was happy to find that the ink for the Cannon printer came in a pack, as it is a bit pricey. It was still a little pricey in a pack but at least a little less. Up to now I had been buying the Quill brand ink for my supervisor's cannon, but it ended up having a terrible ink-spill. I was told by Cannon Customer Service to be sure to use only Cannon brand in order to prevent spills. So far all copies have been printed without ink-spill lines on the paper.

          Canon ink may cost a little more than generic ink but it doesn't cause any printhead problems in the printer. The product also makes great photo prints as long as you use Canon photo paper with this ink.
