I purchased this one because of it's small size, it's manual feeder (so I can print my DVD labels & card stock) and it's a brand I have come to trust. Sadly, the photo color tends toward the red end of the spectrum. The test pages all look fine and with proper grey tinting, it's just the images from photoshop that are too red. Non-professionals (and customers) won't care about that since I'm not selling graphics, I'm selling video, but I sure notice it. I would have preferred to find a printer with individual ink tanks for each color but those inks would have to be tiny indeed to fit in this small machine. It's a trade-off worth making.

It is a wonderful printer. Easy set-up, SHARP, VIBRANT colors-especially the greens and blues. Lightweight and easy to set up quickly. Fits into my rolling briefcase easily. Doesn't come with a printer cord, so be sure you have one or pick one up when you get your printer. I am using it on a daily basis and it is perfect so far. It seems to turn itself off if not used for a couple of hours, but, you only have to hit the button to turn back on. I am SO glad I purchased this model. It is everything it is advertised to be so far.

My old IP90 print head died and for the cost of replacing the head (labor and parts) it was just about the same to upgrade to the IP100. Installation was easy and it prints quickly with no lag time for the ink to dry. The only "downfall" is that you have to catch the paper as it comes out unless you haveit on a desk where it can land safely. I commented that it's "noisy" but that's mainly when it starts up. It's not really that noisy, but that was the only option to choose.

Its a very small printer.It travels all over our house,my daughter will use it ,then my husband will take it downstairs and use it on his laptop...and when were done ,its put on a shelf....just plug it into you laptop and print...

Generally, compact with a small footprint printer. Before I had PIXMA iP90 which was smaller in size, with similar functionality. It worked for years but was not used with high intensity. And suddenly failed. The replacement printer (iP100) is kind of similar in its functionality, a litle larger in size and makes excessive noise while pulling paper in - it's just too thorough. After installation it works OK, in the long run - hard to say.

We needed a small, easy to travel with printer that is Mac compatible. This little gem is small enough to fit into the same bag that we use to carry our MacBook Pro when we travel. This printer can be used wirelessly if you get the optional adapter for that function, but we use it by connecting it to our computer with a USB cable, which is also extra. I like that the means of connecting it to the computer can be either way, and that the user determines which accessory to purchase. This will get used just when we travel, probably just to print maps and travel directions.

I purchased the printer to take to Cuba, a country without access to printers. Printed 5 puppet scripts (54 pages, double spaced) and exhausted the black ink cartridge. Other than that it is a dream!

The set up was easy, the graphics perfect as they were not in the language used in the country, and the speed was amazing...and the quality was excellent.

I chose the printer over another brand (that I usually use) because of its size and Canon reputation. I forgot extra cartridges to my dismay and found myself having to use extreme caution with our project.
