The Canon PG-40 ink cartridge is high on performance and low on duration; i.e., it seems to not last very long. Maybe this malady fits the old manufacturing adage: "Built-in Obsolescence"!! I.E., more money for the company! The SW in the system also calls for replacement at least 30 jobs before "really" needed- another Canon strike at GREED! I'm seriously considering buying my own refill kit. At ~ $28 a cartridge, it's ridiculous!!
My old Canon Pixma MP150 is a fixer-upper, I guess 9 years old now. This ink dries quickly and makes a good copy, even with the old printer. The Quill price on this product can't be beat, nor can the speed of delivery -- almost always in one day! Thank you, Quill!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Have this ink for the all in one - use it only for fax and the occasional copy. I have to replace ink often although I barley use the equipment. Looking for a better machine that does not take so much maintenance
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
