I design and print many computer manuals for my courses and I think that I get the most bang for my buck with my Canon printer and Canon inks. I have other printers but even though speed is comparable they seem to drink expensive ink. I only use Canon inks having tried no name brands only to have the quality of the pages suffer with uneven and inconsistent coverage. Occasionally there have also been defective, unusable cartridges. I work on a tight last minute schedule and I have been able to count on this product.

Cannon is a proven brand with proven quality products. They have been at the forefront of the printing supply business for many years. With a legacy of time tested products and service, they have earned the label of 'reliable'.

You can buy the generic replacement inks for less, but you certainly aren't assured the same quality that you will get from genuine Cannon ink. Cannon ink is especially designed for Cannon printers, assuring you that your documents will be pristine, and your photos will be vivid.

Add to all of this the ease of changing cartridges, and the 'no mess' condition of doing so, and the few extra pennies of cost is money well spent.

In comparison, a combination product set of 4 with multi-colors including black are available in the store. Individual purchase allows the purchaser to balance the needs of color cartridges as replacement is necessary. The product is easy to install, color remains bright, distinct and attractive.

I've been using this ink in a Canon Pixma IP6600D printer for a very long time and have never had a single problem with any ink or the printer. Hard to believe how long the Canon Pixma IP6600D Printer has lasted and without a single issue. Can't say that for other brands I've used.
