The Canon Gray Cartridge can only be bought at Staples; besides from Canon itself, but is more expensive there. Customer for life ( the life of my Canon printer for now)!

I have used both the Cannon Printer with and without gray. I prefer the without gray for one main reason. The gray for some reason run out twice as fast as the other colors. I go through a ton of cartridges and I always have to buy twice as much gray. I don't think it is needed and it just costs me extra money. If the gray lasted as long as the other it would be fine, but it doesn't. I would like to know why. I wish I knew this was the case before I bought a printer with gray. I plan on getting another printer and won't buy the Cannon that requires gray.
