The best printer we have ever purchased,would definitely suggest it to everyone.Does not require replacement very frequently,and colors stay bright and true. Staples always has the in stock the colors we need. I like to have back-up stock so I never run out;we had previously had an Epson, and an HP;not nearly as good,and used alot of ink.I take alot of photos and everyone is professional grade,color is great for wedding,pets,holidays etc.This is the only printer that Ihave seen use a gray cartridge,which is great, thank you.

I purchase this cartridge along with magenta and yellow and the colors are always vivid, sharp and clear. I have never experienced any smudging. I ink is easy to replace when low/out. The price is fairly decent and last quite a while. I would purchase this again and again. Staples always has them in stock which is a plus and if you order online, shipping is always free. Also being a member of the ink return program is a plus. You will receive $2 off for every returned/used cartridge and be able to use it towards your next purchase. Signing up is easy and secure. You won't be disappointed!

Cannon printer goes through ink cartridges very quickly. Got a good deal on printer but have lost the savings many times over on ink. Basicilly I think the stratagy is to sell the printer at or below cost and then make a killing on ink cartriges.
