The ink cartridge is great. No mess or fuss. However,I purchased Canon because I thought HP ink was too expensive. However, based on the life a Canon ink cartridge there really was not a savings.

like the idea of individual cartridges but I don't feel like they last long at all. It seems like as soon as one goes the others all follow right behind. Easy to replace and easy to handle. I do a lot of black only printing yet the colors don't last much longer than the black. The twist off on the cartridge can be difficult to remove.I like the way the computer has a flashing light to tell you which one needs to be replaced. I don't like the way there is no warning to let you know the cartiridge is running out. The printing just stops.
