    I have had several Canon printers, and I discovered with the last one that the way to get the best possible photo prints with it is to use only Canon ink and only Canon paper. Yes, there are cheaper alternatives, but they do not produce the same results. There is a noticeable difference when I use the Canon ink and paper. I use this Canon ink only now, and I get outstanding prints with none of the problems I used to have with lower-priced inks and papers. It does mean paying more, and I wish that were not the case, but the printer just does a far better job with the paper and ink it was designed to use. Putting cheaper ink in it is like buying a Ferrari and using the cheapest gas you can find to fuel it. It just doesn't even make sense. Now that I use this ink, I actually love my printer more too, because it does such a better job when I use the right supplies. Highly recommend this ink.

    Cannon CLI-226 inks work well with a Cannon MX882 printer. However, The cartridges are much smaller than the BCI-6 cartridges and run out quickly. This was the case with HP printers and small capacity ink cartridges. It really is frustrating and expensive to constantly replace cartridges even when printing in "Fast" mode.

      This is of course only one of the five ink cartridges that my Canon Pixma printer requires.
      The printer is just right for my small consulting business, as the yellow cartridge is fine for the printer.

      Sometimes I do wish, however, that all the cartridges were a little larger, and lasted a little longer.
