I do wish the cost was less and that the ink lasted a little longer; however, realizing that the technology for inkjet type printers is where it is at the moment. In the past I have used replacement inks and there is no comparison in print quality or life of the Canon ink cartridges. The ease of replacement is a bonus, and the Staples "cash" earned to spend at the stores is quite attractive. Working to keep our environment clean by offering the recycling program is something Staples can be extremely proud.

Even though the price appears to be more that I might like to spend for ink, it is worth the investment. I have tried other brands and been consistently disappointed with the brief life span of those brands. This one has clarity and longevity. Perfect for my occasional personal usage.

I do a lot of downloading of patterns and crafting ideas. I am a paper crafter and really need a lot of ink both color and black and white. It seems like I am always buying new cartridges for my printer and running out sometimes in as short a time as 1 week. Because they are both so expensive it cuts down on the number of print outs I can make that week. I do use the printer for business as well and find it sometimes a lot cheaper to go to a copy center to make the copies. I love my printer but it is my understanding that with these cartridges if one color runs out you need to replace the entire cartridge. Not always a happy camper.

This is an excellent product, easy to install and use. The output rivals some things I have paid a lot to have done. Bottom line is that even though I think the cost is a little high, it is still a good value when you consider the amount of work that one of these ink cartridges can put out. I also like the fact that you are not battling the printer to install this cartridge. You slip it in, lock it down and you are ready to print. No head adjustments are needed for best quality. The cartridge does everything it is supposed to do from the get-go.

I had no trouble installing a new cartridge and it worked beautifully. Price was average so I wasn't hit with sticker shock. The prints came out clear, no smuging, unless the cat slobbered over them, and I just use this to print out word documents and recipes that include pictures of the food that is sharp and clear. Can't say anything bad about it.

we use this product in our fax machine. we have to replace ink about every one to one and a half week.
I would not have a machine that used this ink if I had known that I would be using so much ink.

Short cartridge life. If you buy a printer that uses this cartridge better buy several cartridges or risk running out of ink.
