You do have to squeeze the bottle a little hard and wait a few seconds for the ink to come out; but this is a good thing. Certainly do not want a mess of ink to cleam up. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who needs ink no matter whether it is for personal or business use. It works for well for me. I use it mainly for business; but have used it for personal use also. To me this is a no brainer when I need to buy ink it is definitely this product. I hope the manufacturer never stops manufacturing this product!

GREETINGS STAPLES,
MY OLD INK PAD WAS DRY AS A BONE, I PURCHASED TWO NEW PADS, BLACK AND RED, ALSO I PURCHASED SOME BLACK ROLL ON INK AND IT PERFORMED SO WELL THAT I NOW PREFER IT OVER MY NEW BLACK INK PAD.
ITS USED MAINLY FOR OLD POST OFFICE CANCELERS FROM WORLD WAR II. TO BE HONEST THE OLD PAD AFTER IT'S RE INKED GIVES ME MUCH BETTER IMAGE RESULTS COMPARED WITH MY NEW INK PAD THAT IM NOT TO HAPPY WITH, DUE TO THE NEW PAD'S MATERIAL APPEARS TO BE BREAKING UP AND I GET BLOTCHY RESULTS SO I HAVE TO USE THE OLDER INK PAD.
