As for as inkjet print cartridges can be, this is a very good cartridge. It is a bit pricey-but within the acceptable range. I do wonder why the cartridges from similar HP printers have a minor change preventing the cartridges from being interchangeable.

Staples had this ink near me for years, I was recently surprised not find it there, I had to order it on line, I understand it is for older printers but my printer still works great..So as long as it does, I will still order it at Staples.The ink does last and the colors are vibrant. It is so easy to put in the HP Printer. I can take it out when my printer needs to be cleaned and no matter how long it takes when I put it back in the ink stays moist and works great..I hope it won't be discontinued.
