Don't spill anything on this keyboard. It is not designed so you can remove the top key assembly and wash it under water like other keyboards. The different levels of illumination is awesome! Since it is a USB keyboard, Windows has no problem recognizing it when you plug it in. Having buttons to control sound is very useful when you are watching a video, especially when the ads appear and crank-up the volume. The keyboard is slim, but well constructed on clear plastic. You may end up purchasing two.

Needed a back-lit keyboard for use in a low-light environment. This is the third one I have owned, and by far the best in quality and features. The white-lit numbers and letters are easy to read in any light, and the "feel" of the keystrokes is very nice and give a consistent feedback. The keys on the bottom row have a slightly rounded shape, which gives a nice guide for the fingers when touch-typing. I should have gone to a Logitech keyboard in the first place, even considering the slightly higher retail price. I highly recommend this keyboard.

I've used the keyboard for about 5-weeks. The illumination is great. There is software disk that comes with product allowing you to customize keys. I've not done that. Just plugged in and restarted PC as per instructions and it works just like any other wired keyboard. I did find it different that Logitech placed the INSERT - DELETE button on top row next to the F12 rather than having a regular key below the DEL button which is longer and takes up two spaces. The keyboard feels and sounds like a laptop keyboard which is taking a little while to use effectively. it is not like the keyboard that came with my desktop PC which has a louder sound after depression. The keys also appear to be a little lower that those on my old keyboard. That said, I've found it to be the best option in wired illuminated boards at a reasonable price at Staples after searching other sellers. Shipping was timely after order.

This keyboard is great. I get up very early in the morning, so I really need illuminated keys. This keyboard has them and the character size is perfect. The character lighting is white, has 3 lighting levels, and can be turned off if desired. I also own the Logitech G110 Gaming Keyboard, which is also illuminated, but the character size is so small that I stopped using it. The keyboard is ultra thin and super quiet, but stays in place on my desktop even when I'm banging it around while playing games. I like this keyboard so much that I purchased one for my wife and two more to keep in reserve.

My Creative Muse doesn't know from a 9 to 5 schedule so I'm often at work after midnight. This keyboard is comfortable and wonderfully QUIET. The function keys are a bonus and the illumination enables me to work easily in low-level (or no) light. Typing 12+ hours at a time is no problem!

This is my third purchase of this outstanding Logitech keyboard. I have three pc's and now they all have a lighted keyboard. I like the soft feel in typing and the excellent reponse in the keys. The keyboard lights are also adjustable in three settings.

Logitech company has always been a top notched company that I frequently purchase on all my systems. I build computers for friends and if they don't specify which company, I always push Logitech keyboards and mouse for their computers.

So far I am completely satisfied with this key board. I work in my home office at night often. Its nice to be able to see the key board if the lights are off. Back lighting on key board is adjustable so its not too bright. I definitely would buy this product again.
