In my experience Logitech equals quality. This is the 2nd M705 purchased and it works flawlessly in my business applications. Fast accurate tracking and fits hand perfectly making for ease of use over long periods of time. Suggest to insure long battery life, if you're going to be away from computer for awhile turn the mouse over and turn it off. Makes a huge difference.

I spent 3 weeks researching all the "mice" out there to decide which mouse was best for me. I chose the Logitech M705. I bought it at Staples. Staples had samples that I could hold and find the best fit for my hand.

I have owned Logitech mice before and they worked great!

When the scroll wheel is set in the free wheel mode it drifts when stopped due to the wheel not being ballanced. A touch of light greese at the bearing stops the drift and improves the stop accuracy. When the scroll is set with the detent on it's a bit too course.

The scrolling wheel on this mouse is not counter-balanced correctly and in the free-wheeling mode causes annoying scrolls up and down. As a long-time Logitech mouse user, I would not recommend this one (could be a random problem with this particular mouse but from what I've read on-line, it appears to be a common problem).

I do both gaming and work. this mouse is great for the surfer and professional user. most games wo be great. But there are better ones out there for gaming. But for the price this is at the top of the line for me.

Are you looking for a comfortable mouse (specialized for right-handed users only), inexpensive, extremely long battery life, very accurate, easy plug n play, and it comes with two AA Duracell Alkaline Batteries in the package.... Well the Logitech Marathon Mouse M705 is the mouse you've been looking for. Just keep in mind, not exactly for gamers. But if you love to scroll(with two settings), forward/back paging buttons... This one has it. Just remember, five buttons are better than three. Options are always good. I'm Mr M and I approve this message.
