While the mouse is a good to use, the wheel tends to have tracking issues as it sometimes locks into an indefinite scroll whether it be up or down. This can be distracting as it affects other keyboard+mouse functions while in use. This may be a software/driver issue and cannot be modified or corrected by the unifying program. While this model lacks the thumb buttons for additional navigational control, the ability to work on any surface quickly outweighs that one missing feature.

My husband purchased this mouse and I don't like it. It is bulky in my hand and does not move smoothly. My hand and wrist get fatigued more quickly than with our other Logitech wireless mouse. We don't live near a Staples and the return period was over before I could take it back.

I am left handed and this mouse works great for me. It's plug and play on a Mac. The mouse is a bit heavier than others and that seems to give it an edge for precise movement. It tracks extremely well. I tried it on a variety of surfaces - it even works great on the back of my hand and over the creases on my trousers. The scroll wheel is smooth - no clicks, and it also works very well in every situation I threw at it. With other mice I've had to mess around with my fingernail to open the battery compartment. This one has a handy little lock switch on the bottom - move it and the cover pops open.
