The basic design and function are excellent, however, the mouse is a bit too narrow and the up/down wheel has such low resistance that it almost flies away while scrolling

The mouse is comfortable. That is the only good thing I can say. The scroll wheel will not behave consistantly across applications. I have downloaded an installed the fixes recommended by Logitech and it still "does it's own thing". It makes the calendar in Outlook unusable as the pages scroll uncontrollably. It will either not scroll in a browser or the pages bounce depending on the setting. The last straw was having it move the screen as I was clicking so that instead of previewing a long post, I was taken back to the front and my work was lost.
