I used to have a wireless mouse from a competitor. I velcro'ed the USB sender unit directly under the keyboard, just slightly to the right. If I moved my mouse more than 2 feet over to the right, it would get "out of range" and lose connection to the sending unit. It was very frustrating. And it ate batteries with a ravenous appetite.

I have never had this problem with Logitech mice. I've bought several, and I just plug the tiny sender unit into the back of a workstation, and start using the mouse. Duck easy to use, super reliable, long battery life. That's what everyone wants from a mouse--just point, dang it!

When you have to fool around to get a mouse to work, you really find yourself wanting to see how far you can throw the dang thing, swinging it around your head bolero style!!

So, get a Logitech mouse, and get back to work!
