Comments about Roylco® Craft Rubbing Plates; Optic Illusion:

I could see these used in a grammar school setting, crayons rubbing on paper with rubbing plate underneath. The ones shaped like flowers and leaves are great for helping children learn names with the image. I, personally, have several sets of these rubbing plates, which I bought through Quill. But I use them in a different way than the manufacturers probably ever intended! I am decades away from grammar school.... but I'm involved with a very fun art medium: monoprinting. Google or YouTube search the brand name "Gelli Arts" to see dozens of video tutorial on methods & techniques with the Gelli Plate. Essentially, I use these rubbing plates for texture in making my monoprints. They're simply awesome for that purpose, I find.
