not enough dust??

      Comments about Crayola® Anti-Dust® Chalk; White, 12/Box:

this chalk is so hard/durable (is that how it creates less dust?) that very little of it actually transfers to the chalkboard such that the class members can hardly see it. If little dust is your priority, then this might suite your needs, but we need to actually see what is being written on the board by the instructor. I will be going back to the dusty type

not all its "chalked" up to be

      Comments about Crayola® Anti-Dust® Chalk; White, 12/Box:

Bought this chalk to use on our family chalk board to write down chores my 4 boys are expected to do each morning and afternoon when they arrive home from school and also to use at night when we turn the chalk board into our math station ... while the chalk is anti-dust like it says, it is also very brittle and does not appear boldy on the board unles you push down very hard. Because it is so brittle, once you do push down it snaps and breaks into smaller chunks. On top of the chalf not showing up on the board and breaking in my hand ... it is also incredibly difficult to erase from the board. I have bought crayola chalk that was not anti-dust before and did not have these problems. Needless to say, we will not be purchasing again.

      Sticks break easily

            Comments about Crayola® Anti-Dust® Chalk; White, 12/Box:

The chalk sticks break so easily that a new stick is reduced to nubbins in a minute. Look for stronger, higher density chalk sticks.

                Comments about Crayola® Anti-Dust® Chalk; White, 12/Box:

This chalk does it's job. It writes smoothly, it lasts a while, and it is mostly dust free. Very little dust gets on your hand, and the grip is in between comfortable and uncomfortable. I bought a case or two, and none of them came broken. The only problem I have is since I press hard when I write, the chalk often breaks in half, but Quill sells chalk holders that keep this chalk from breaking. This chalk erases nicely even on a "fake" chalkboard with an economy eraser. I use it for personal use, but is ideal for school, business, or other uses. The price is very cheap, and the quality is good from a trusted brand. Other retailers charge up to around $3 for this same product!
