They run out quickly because thwey get dull after sdme usage. Hard to sharpen.. they break off in sharpener.

Crayola colored pencils last so much longer than any other brand. They do not break easily nor do they need to be sharpened as often as the other brands. My students love the variety of color. They are used in my middle school classroom to identify corrections that need to be made in the daily warm-ups which are done each day in my classroom. They are also used to "color" their essays. I love them because my students do not need to sharpen the colored pencils in the middle of a lesson or while revising their written pieces.

This Crayola product had a good variety of colors and they color very smoothly. The one issue I've had with all Crayola colored pencils is that the tips break off pretty easily. Once they break, it's very difficult to resharpen them because they just keep breaking.

These pencils were purchased for creative coloring play with my grandxchildren who are coming down from Spokane for a visit to Las Vegas. The children ages 12 and 9 stay with my husbanmd and myself. In the evenings we do coloring and watch movies, go for ice cream, use sidewalk chalk and blow tons of bubbles. We also use water balloons.

This is a great product. Over the years I have found Crayola products to be the best colored pencils and crayons available. I have bought numerous "50 packs" for my family's use and to give as gifts because of the great color variety. It was a good value because of the varied color selection, plus I had a Staples coupon! The twelve and 24 packs have the same quality, but users are much more limited with the color choices. These pencils can be easily used by kids as young as seven and will still be used for high school projects.

I love drawing and was looking for something gold and silver. This package provided just what I needed. The only drawback was there was no Bronze or Brass color, (although they have Bronze Yellow and Harvest Gold). Love the product.
