          I've tried other refills that are supposedly "made" for my extensive collection of Cross pens, but nothing works as well as the genuine Cross refill. The ink flows smoothly, I don't have the trouble with skips and blobs that I get with other refills, and since I can always find them at my local Staples, I have no worries about running out. I carry extra refills with me at all times because I don't want to run out. I write a LOT - primarily for business, but also for personal activities, and nothing equals a Cross refill.
