We have a large 5 drawer file cabinet and these work perfect on the side. If we don't have time to file we stick the file or other papers in the appropriate one and we can file them later. They get very full and they never slide down or fall off. Yet, the magnet is not so strong that they are not easily moveable when we need to.

VERY POOR QUALITY! The plastic bin itself is thin and is basically 3-sided, meaning there is no back to the bin, just a flimsy plastic band with 2 magnets glued onto it. The band itself is attached to the bin with FLIMSY CLEAR PLASTIC SCREWS (!) that appear to be of the same plastic as the bin itself. It is so loose and rickety that I immediately felt compelled to secure the screw areas with thick packing tape to keep them from falling out, which helped some. I can only put about 80 sheets of standard copy paper in it before it threatens to fall off the metal filing cabinet. I would NOT recommend this product to anyone, and would have returned it but for the inconvenience. I don't expect it to last long. I will be sure to avoid products made by Deflect-O in the future, and suggest the reader do the same!

They work great for what we used them for, which is not a lot of paper in them at once. They are nice looking and really cleaned up our space , but like I said you can't fill them with a lot of paper at once. Definitely for small jobs, but it works great for that.

We use this to hold 12" x 11" heavy plastic sheets to use as "file out" place holders. Magnetic strip is strong and we have had no problems with it falling off.
