The colors are clear and crisp. However, the cartridge empties too quickly. This may, or may not, be directly related to the cartridge and may have more to do with the printer itself, or the paper used for common applications.

    It is nice to not have to purchase Dell Ink cartridges from Dell. I believe that the price for them for the number of pages printed is expensive. You are very close to where I live so it is easy to get them when I need them.

      I've had several Dell Printers. They've lasted many years and the ink has always been perfect. I have never had a problem with their Printers or Ink. The color is amazing on the photo's and posters - seriously - perfect always. I can always find them in stock at staples which has been a huge plus for me.

            I believe that Dell is recycling ink cartridges or Staples just has old stock. The first two I bought this time leaked. I returned them and the second two were nearly empty so I returned them. The black cartridge is fine but the color cartridge prints very dull colors.
