First Dell printer that I have owned. Would go back to HP next time. The Dell is expensive to run, due to the rapid use of ink. Cartridges are easy to remove and install, but don't last very long. So I have become an expert on removal and replacing. Have not found any generic replacements, so am stuck replacing with Dell branded cartridges. It is nice to get $2.00 rebate credit for returning the empty cartridges and it is definitely good for the environment, but Staples makes a killing by refilling and reselling.

The Dell cartages work ok but the store doesn't keep keep it in stock.
the lexmark works ok but the price is way out of line.I can buy two dell at the price of one lexmart cartage not one double pack I mean one cartage.

This was a quick purchase and it was easy to install. Took longer than expected online to delivery, but when I received it, put them in and they worked immediately. Have not had any problem with these. The last ones I had didn't last long at all. I hope these will last as long as the box says and I don't have to replace them soon. I do a lot of graphics printing and documents and these have worked fine for my purpose. I have no negatives about this product and Staples has gone above and beyone to supply.
