About Me Quality Oriented
I needed a marker that wouldn't smear on labels on plastic freezer bags. Staples was the only store where this product can be found.
Great tool, use to X open pill bottles.

Better than a sharpie of permanent marker. Does not smudge or smear on all label types. Doesn't obscure print on label.
A Great Convenience

I love these China markers and have used them for many years. I MUCH prefer Red markers, but Staples apparently carries only Black. I'm very disappointed, but will make do with the Black. Darn!

About Me Professional
Markers work good. Versatile on most substrates. I use them for pricing goods in my thrift store. I can easily change prices if need be with a napkin of tissue. Which is good and bad. Still use adhesive stickers for valuable items.
Good for outdoor plant labels
By Bonnie

These China markers are hard to find so I was fortunate to get them at Staples. They work well for marking plant names on plastic plant markers. They withstand weathering, wet conditions and sun. They will rub off, but only with real effort to do just that. It takes some sharpening to get them to a fine point for lettering and the peel away tip isn't the easiest way to expose the marking tip. For marking plant labels I use these, hobby paint markers or lead pencil. The popular permanent black felt tip markers will fade in a season.

We called them grease pencils....
By salth2ogal

I have been searching for an old-fashioned grease pencil to label my reusable food containers, jars, etc. Because I can and freeze so much, I reuse my containers from year to year & didn't like to label them with permanent marker. With the china marker, I can mark the container and then wash it off when it is empty. My only con is that one needs to purchase 10 pencils in a box - I only needed one - so that is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Each pencil lasts a long time, so I guess I have a life time supply!
