Duracell Batteries is a household name here in our home. We have known its quality for years and continue to buy them as we need them and stock up on them so we never run out. There are many other competitors out there but when you are wanting a battery that will "perform" you reach for Duracell knowing it will never let you down. Purchasing a "no name" battery we have learned in our home just doesn't cut it - performance and quality is just not there on top of finding out it goes dead quick. Duracell gets a 5 star from us!

I use quite a lot of 9 volt batteries being in a band. I find these to be the longest lasting for the price.

Batteries are a necessity for living in this electronic age, from ceiling smoke alarms to back-ups for radios to telephone answering machines to remote controls. Having an array of batteries is an absolute necessity, and Duracell batteries are a good investment for a cache of batteries for every occasion, and having an assortment, from AAA to 9 volt, is a requirement these days. You never know when a battery will age out of use and have to be replaced, and having many stored is necessary. Duracell is the best battery for keeping ahead of need.

I needed new 9V batteries because my smoke alarm was beeping indicating low battery. I put this one in and, after 24 hours, it started beeping again.

It's too soon to tell if a battery I just bought will be as effective as advertised. However, I did notice that the store had some year old dates on the battery packs, so I tried to find the most currently issued package.

Although pricey, duracell does make a good durable battery. I like the fact that these batteries are long lasting. I have used these batteries for years in all different types of everyday devices. Keep an eye out for pricing, it varies greatly when buying small packages vs buying in bulk. But not everyone needs 10-16 nine-volt batteries at one time. A plus, is the coding to insure freshness, especially if you plan to keep batteries around the house for later use. I would highly recommend this battery.
