Same's club has 8 Energizer batteries for the same price. If you want the Duracell name though, it's a fair price.

Recently we used some generic "9 volt" batteries in our smoke detectors.
In a day or two = they were dong intermittent beeping to say that battery was low.

These were brand new - but generic batteries! GRR!

Hubby has a voltage tester = so he tested generic batteries before he put more new generics in.
They only tested at 7 volts = not 9 volt! GRR!

So we bought Duracell batteries & they tested at 10 volts. YEAH !

So sometimes supposed bargain generic batteries are not a bargain after all !
