Let's face it. The Duracell batteries are simply the best and longest lasting of all other batteries on the market. They are perfect for a wide variety of uses, not just photography. I also use them in my digital audio recorders, remote controls for televisions and stereos, for my indoor outdoor thermometer and for a number of other direct current battery operated devices around the office and home. Perhaps most of all, I like to use Duracell batteries in flashlights for the simple reason that I can always count upon having the flashlight work when needed. It is so exasperating to have the flashlight sit on the shelf for several weeks or months, and then when you need it most, everything is still dark. In other words in my humble opinion, Duracell has a great product which I readily command to family and friends. (681 character count per WordPerfect automatic character counter)

We've been using the AAA and AA sizes in mice, laser pointers, cd players, etc. Yea, they cost a bunch to buy, but the replace so many batteries you would bought anyway because you can recharge these.
