It works just as expected. I confess, I haven't used it enough yet to detect any weaknesses or inadequacies. But so far it's digital, it's a scale, it looks like the picture on the box... pretty much what I expected when I purchased it.

I use it for measuring food portions, measuring hair coloring chemicals, weighing items for ultra-light backpacking, and even postal items. I'd say it can weigh pretty much anything... except any items over three pounds. So DON'T put that Costco chocolate layer cake on it... that will squash it flat.
