Love this label printer

Comments about DYMO LabelWriter; 450 Twin Turbo:
I love the convenient of not purchasing stamps at the Post Office. Love the professional look of the mailing labels. (I currently only use these two applications.) As a home-based business, I use this for both business and personal use and the software lets me keep track of the usage for business and/or personal. Software was simple to install and really simple to use. Love, Love, Love it. solved a lot of problems for me.

I've had the computer tech guys even try to set it up. This will be the third try for them and that think they might have it ready. It does work well for postage labels, but that is all so far.

Great Printer!

Purchased this printer mainly for my small business so I could put professional looking price tags on my handmade jewelry. Found lots of other business uses for this printer after looking at the large selection of labels! Appointment cards became discount cards, small labels multipurpose labels became logo labels. Love the double roll too!

I purchased this 450 Twin Turbo as a replacement to my prior one, which was just the Twin Turbo model. I did this replacement because of the good price that staples offered and that they gave the additional $10 off if you traded in any type of label machine. This machine prints faster than the prior model (that I traded in), it is easy to set up with NO difficulty and loading their drivers was a snap--I encountered no problems as others have complained about. Labels seem to print darker than the prior model, which to me is a big plus. I have not experienced any problems with printing, no mess up of labels as it pulls the printed label slightly back into the machine as it begins to print the next label or labels.Personally, I think it is wise to use the GENUINE DYMO replacement labels. I am a firm believer that the secondary market supplies don't work as good as the genuine ones do. If you feel you bought a good/great printer then why not give it the label products produced by DYMO.NO complaints here and I love this printer.

Great Printer - Expensive Consumables

About Me Heavy Duty User
While the printer does provide crisp professional looking labels and postage, I find the cost of those labels to be excessive. 200 postage stamp size labels run nearly $20. While the machine could easily accomodate a much larger roll 200 is the largest I have found available. It is convenient to have for immediate printing of postage and labels but you'll find the labels start getting costly when doing large mailings routinely.I have gone back to sheet labels on my laser printer for large mailings. I still use the postage as I can get 1 stamp for the exact postage I need and not have to apply multiple postal stamps to acheive the correct amount. I cringe at this as I say the almost .10 cost of the label is excessive in my view.I suggest you review your intended usage volume and weigh costs versus convenience before you purchase. Appears a bit more nifty than it really is.

We have a small coin and jewelry retail/wholesale business. We all have these machines and they work great. The versatility of this printer is outstanding. We use it for addresses, barbell labels for jewelry, filing labels, and even some pricing and information applications. Highly recommend this product, we have used them for several years and have only had one jam.
Nice product for one label at a time!

About Me Infrequent User
I was dissappointed to find that I can only use it for first class postage up to 13oz. without paying a monthly fee for an upgraded service. That defeats the purpose of having the convenience of printing postage at home. I would warn anyone who is considering this for occasional home use. However, it is nice to be able to print only one label at a time when needed.
