About Me Quality Oriented
Comments about DYMO LabelWriter 4XL Printer:
Printer works beautifully however, if you want to print out USPS Priority labels or the like, you must purchase an Indicia monthly paid subscription plan and cannot use their free plan. Cannot also print directly from the USPS shipping website.Even with the additional monthly cost this is well worth purchasing if you want to free yourself from making trips to the Post Office.

About Me Midrange Shopper
Useful and easily install into PC for label printing. But only one matter for this printer have to use the dedicated manufacture printing paper using with high cost label printer like H printing company's ink cartridge using.

HORRIBLE! STAY AWAY!
By Rick the Receipt Printer

Bought to use to print receipts for customers. My receipt paper is pretty standard at about 3 inches or so, but Dymo does not stock that size.Over 1.5 hours on the phone with Dymo support, their printers will NOT accept any other paper for labels than official Dymo produced labels. Additionally, the only receipt paper size they produce is much too narrow. VERY VERY FRUSTRATING! Dymo did not care at all either. STAY AWAY FROM DYMO!

About Me Budget Shopper
Bought this as an open purchase for our small company, specifically for tagging IT equipment & various lines at the small businessess we support. It was a good choice - no complaints so far, easy to use, comes in it's own case.

About Me High-end Shopper
This product does exactly what its supposed to do. I use it to ship 100-200 packges a month and ended up paying for itself very quickly with all the tape, paper, and ink i was previously using. It is pretty much a plug and play device and did not require a huge learning curve like some printers ive used in the past. If you use a mac computer, this is the only printer worth purchasing for 4x6 labels. In combination with endicia, this printer will save you time and money. I still have not figured out how to print labels through ups, fedex, paypal, usps.com without having to jump through hoops to get it to work. Im sure it can be done by saving labels, and pasting them in the dymo software, but prepare yourself for wrong sized labels, wasted labels, and cropping images for a professional look while you adjust your paper size settings. My only complaint is its high price tag and that you cannot use the zebra labels which you can get for free through ups. But with that said, you can get about 1800 labels for roughly $40-45.Brothers makes a similar printer for much less, but was a nightmare to get it to print professional looking shipping labels. The features on the brothers is better...but the labels, compatibility, user friendliness will make you look elsewhere. Not to mention the brothers requires extremely expensive labels with lesser quality adhesive backing. All in all, for a small-medium sized mac based business this is an absolute great product. Only wish I could easily print shipping labels outside of using [@]. Im sure people have found ways around it, but wish it was as easy as paying for postage and clicking the print button.

Perfect for people shipping alot of items. Not made of the best quality material. Mostly plastics! Would have preferred metal parts for the price that was paid. Not sure how long it will last but so far so good.
