This labeling device was purchased for my CFO who needed to use it to help organize things in her office. I opened it up, got the batteries installed and it was ready to go! She was able to turn it on and use it right away. It has a few bells and whistles if she feels like using them.

Very easy to use. Easier than our last lable maker we had. Was supprised by all the symbols it comes with. The tape is very easy to change or switch out when you want to go from paper to plasic and such.

I'm a school teacher and bought this Dymo label maker to use in my classroom. I love it so far! I looked at many other label makers before choosing this one. I love that it has a magnetic holder so I can attach it to the side of my desk, file cabinet, etc. It also has some of the least expensive refills and they even come in metallic colors. It prints with cool borders around the lettering like a crocodile, flowers and a train, which are really cute. It prints in many different size fonts, bold, italic and is really easy to use, even if you're not tech savvy.

Not recommended for printing file folder labels; although it prints two lines, each line must be the same size and same font. The preview screen isn't helpful (it doesn't show the size that will print).
