Comments about B O X Packaging Economy Padded Mailers; #2, 8-1/2x12:
We ship books in this padded mailer. Because of the smooth interior of these envelopes, the books slide right in. When we used bubble mailers years ago, the corners of the books would catch on the bubbles and it took some doing to get them inserted. There is no self-sealing adhesive to close the envelope, but we have always taped over those types of seals anyway because it never looked like they would hold well enough by themselves. These mailers are less expensive without the self-sealing, and we use no more tape to seal them than we did on the self-sealing mailers. We are grateful that Quill still makes these mailers available.
Not very padded

We've used these padded mailers for years and this product used to be much better. However, the last couple of times we've ordered these, they've been a lot less padded and more cheaply made. I'm looking for an alternative now.
