I got this corner shelf (of course for the corner of my desk) for storage of my binders that I need to access frequently throughout the day. This holds my binders just fine! Not mad at it. I guess it would be a little flimsy if you move it often...but I will not be moving it. Great item

This is a stylish piece but is not made very sturdy. It can come apart if picked up because the pieces slide onto each other; they don't snap or lock together in any way. If it is assembled and left in the same spot, it will do fine, and it will not collapse when moving items into or out of the stand unless you knock the top off. For the price, I was expecting something that was made as a whole piece that would be more sturdy. Even made the way it is, however, it serves its purpose and does so very stylishly. I would recommend this to a friend but would do so with a disclaimer.

I use a lot of manuals that are in 3-ring binders because they need constant updating. I have two of these racks side-by-side in easy reach on my file cabinet. The center wedge is great for small, easily misplaced office tools like the staple remover. Another two of these wire racks are stacked to make the best use of that otherwise useless corner of the cube behind my computer.
