The quality of the Epson 69 ink cartridges is good, but the number of pages able to be produced from the cartridges seems very low and therefore the purchase of additional ink comes to rapidly in my estimation. I will seriously consider returning to another printer in the future as the necessity to replace the current printer arises. I am not in business and all my printing is for personal use and it just seems the ink is used up to quickly for the type of use I am involved in from my home.
But as I said the quality of the printing is good.
As much as I hate to say it, the name brand ink cartridge refills really do last longer than the generic ones. I'm all for saving my pennnies when I can, but in this instance there is truly enough difference to make it a smarter use of my money to go ahead and buy the brand name cartridges. I've been buying Epson printers and Epson ink cartridges for many years. The printers do quality jobs, and the ink refills last a long time, especially when compared to generic ink cartridge refills. Brand name it is for me.
We have used this product every since we got the current printer we own, a Epson Work Force Six-Ten. We purchased it in Twenty-Eleven. We first used Number Sixty-Eight for the Ink, but went to the Number Sixty-Nine Ink and we really like the improvement on the number of pages we get with each usage. We have never had a bad experience with this product as far a leakage. It is very easy to change the cartridges. We always recycle the old cartridges with Staples for the refund and use this extra money to apply to our next purchase. A really great product!
The Epson printer requires all 4 cartirges to operate. So if you run out of one color, your printer will not work. You cannot even print in black or grayscale. And the 4 pack in too expensive. If you don't use your printer often, the cartiges will dry up. Then you will have to buy a new one even if you have not used all the ink.
