sometimes i wish the cartridges held a little more ink. good ink, sometimes gets used a little faster than i would like. will be updating my printer in the future, as i need a multi-tasking printer.

Staples is the only store i get my ink at and epson is the best printer that i have used. Although my use is usually personal i also use it for work related projects. The color is clean and clear. I also make my own greeting cards,the pictures are pristine,it looks like a card from a greeting card store. I like the fact that there is only one cartridge for color instead of individual cartridges. I find with the individual ones you almost always have to replace them at the same time anyway,which leaves you spending much more money in the process. The multicolor cartridge lasts a long time as does the black cartridge. I find it works better replacing both cartridges at once.

If the printer is not used regularly the ink tends to dry up and clog the nozzle. This requires a cleaning that uses a lot of ink. If one color is clogged you have to service all the colors. It would be handy if you could select the color that needs cleaning.
Black ink cartridge seems small and requires more frequent replacement. It has become more dificult to find just the black ink catridge by itself lately.

Good item. A little expensive. Color cartridge is not available by itself.
Dries out over time (could be a design flaw in printer also)...black cartridge more so than color.

The black ink cartridge lasts longer than the color, but Epson seems to love to package the two together. This makes more money for them, but, like airline baggage fees, just annoyed me. The cartridges used to be sold individually, but I can not find them sold that way any more. Their quality was excellent in the years that I used them, but my old Epson printer finally wore out. Good-bye, old friend. Good-bye expensive double cartridge packages.
