I have tried using "refillable" cartridges and I think the new cartridges have a much longer life and are really almost the same amount of money. I have owned many different brands and i can truley say I like the Eoson ink cartriges the best. They are a good value, easily found on the shelves and last a long life. Yhe color is high quality and does not smear or fade, I would recommend the samsung ink to anyone looking to buy a new machine or to someone who is using refillables. Sraples always has them in stock which is a big plus for me as well.

I was not sure I would like the Epson printer when I purchased it. But I have found it to be easy to use and ink is less expensive. The cartidges are easy to install. My old printer was a HP and found it expensive to replace the cartridges. Also had problems with the ink smearing sometimes. I tell all my friends about how happy I am with my Epson printer and not sorry I purchased it.

I really like the Epson XP-400. It is a very nice all-in-one printer. It is fairly fast, quiet and the wi-fi is so convenient! Major drawback is the very short ink cartridge life. They are tiny little things that don't last long. The package says standard capacity, sure wish I could find EXTRA capacity!

When I bought this printer I was told that it would be a good choice. He know I would be using it for business. I have been constantly replacing the cartridges. Non of the stores in the area sell the larger supply cartridges and I am stuck replacing the small capacity cartridges. I will never buy this brand printer again nor will I recommend it to anyone who needs to use it on an almost daily basis.

This product works well, but it seems like the cartridges don't last but only a month and that's with printing maybe once a week(roughly 20 pages or so). I am a college student so I have a lot of papers to write. It's kind of an inconvenience, but the cartridges are also smaller then what I've had before. I like epson, so it's worth it to me. Plus you get $2.00 for every cartidge you turn in at staples, so it all works out in the end.

These cartridges end up costing me more then my HP's in the long run it takes 4 of these cartridges to equal the same number of pages from the HP's

This fits a small printer, but Staples does not carry the "XL" (High Capacity) cartridges.
