FOR MY PHOTO'S OR JUST DOING MY TAXES, LETTERS ETC. I HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH MY INK CARTRIDGE. IT DOES COST A BIT MORE THAN MOST BUT IT ALWAYS GIVES ME A GREAT BLACK, PLUS I LOVE MY PRINTER, THE CARTRIDGE IS EASY TO REMOVE AND INSTALL, NEVER HAD A FAILURE

These products would be better with a longer life span, and yellow, being the least used, outlasts all others leaving a number of cartridges on hand of the single color when the next group is purchased. It would be helpful if individual colors, other than just black, could be puchased - more packages and more fronts required.

What can I say?? If you're interested in this product you most likely own or use an Epson printer which requires this ink cartridge. This gets us to the ink in the cartridge. There are knockoffs and third party refilled cartridges on the market. As well as refillers. Having used some of the knockoff and refilled cartridges in printing some point of sale cards, I have found that the Epson manufactured units produces sharper print and images, and more stable colors than the non OEM unites. As an aside, this has (to me) been more noticeable when printing on non Epson papers.
