    FOR MY PHOTO'S OR JUST DOING MY TAXES, LETTERS ETC. I HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH MY INK CARTRIDGE. IT DOES COST A BIT MORE THAN MOST BUT IT ALWAYS GIVES ME A GREAT BLACK, PLUS I LOVE MY PRINTER, THE CARTRIDGE IS EASY TO REMOVE AND INSTALL, NEVER HAD A FAILURE

      These products would be better with a longer life span, and yellow, being the least used, outlasts all others leaving a number of cartridges on hand of the single color when the next group is purchased. It would be helpful if individual colors, other than just black, could be puchased - more packages and more fronts required.

          What can I say?? If you're interested in this product you most likely own or use an Epson printer which requires this ink cartridge. This gets us to the ink in the cartridge. There are knockoffs and third party refilled cartridges on the market. As well as refillers. Having used some of the knockoff and refilled cartridges in printing some point of sale cards, I have found that the Epson manufactured units produces sharper print and images, and more stable colors than the non OEM unites. As an aside, this has (to me) been more noticeable when printing on non Epson papers.

          This printer is not recommended for a high volume user, but more for personal use. The life of the ink cartridges is very short lived. The printer itself requires low maintenance and puts out quality printing, copying and scanning.

          Ink seems expensive no matter what, that's the only downfall to the product that I can mention. I've had my epson printer for roughly five years and the epson replacement cartridges seem to do a fine job every time I use them. From regular documents to pictures, it seems as though the ink does a fairly good job of printing excellent products. I've made personal business cards that have color on them as well as pictures that are worthy enough to frame. Everything seems to turn out nicely.
