Unfortunately, Epson does not allow other manufacturers to produce ink cartridges for their printers. Nor do they allow cartridge refills. So, buying ink for my Photostylus 1280 (old workhorse) costs about as much as buying an new printer each time. They have some explanation about their warranty that is supposed to make you feel good about plunking down over $100 every time you need ink. I'm note even sure what the warranty covers or what the duration of it is. I've had my printer for about 7 years... Epson doesn't make the 1280 anymore, so I'm pretty sure the warranty gave out long ago. So why don't they at least allow the cartridge refillers access to refill the cartridges? I love the printer, it's still going strong after all these years. Just wishI didn't have to sell a child each time I need ink.

Good colors on Epson Premium Glossy Photo paper. Doesn't last anyway near the advertised "yields up to 330 pages."

I value the quality of the Epson inks because I like clear, bright photographic iages to use for my painting inspirations. The installation, removal & care of the product is terrific. The Epson printer itself is of course also a plus in printing, especially large photos (11" x 17") come out beautifully. I am an artist who wishes to bring all the colors to life in my paintings, Epson helps that dream to fruition!

This cartridge has been a good performer for me for several years and for a single cartridge containing all the necessary colors, it does a very good job. The only exception seems to be yellows.

I print many documents and photos. It is the only black ink I have ever used in my Epson printer. There has never been a problem with this ink.

Epson Inks are matched to their papers, producing the best quality of all
the brands of ink jet inks and papers available, for both business and personal use—with the exception of the DuraBrite series of papers and printers, which produce inferior color and definition.

My only big complaint about Epson inks & papers is the cost, which I find exorbitant, especially for the amount of ink loaded in the cartridges. Unfortunately I'm stuck, because they hands-down produce the best results. I only wish I had seen into the future years ago and invested in some of their company stock.
