I bought the color, Cyan, which I needed, plus a few other colors for the future, when those colors run out. Putting the cartidge in the printer was a lot easier than I remembered it to be. So far I only printed once, and that was black type. It looked good.
It really annoys me that the printer won't print black, when there's enough black ink, but another color is low. In fact, it won't print at all if one color is low. But you probably already know that. I mainly do email, and that's where I do most of my creative work, with the stationery that is available.

Too expensive for the for the volume contained in each cartridge and color cartridges cannot be exhanged with black and the sustem will not work if any one of the cartridges is out, whether it is used or not.

I always use the genuine Epson cartridges rather than substitutes or refilling. I've had to replace printers in the past using inferior cartridges. Never again!
