I still work on a very old printer/computer for printing special documents I've saved & can't transfer to my newest 2nd computer. I'm mostly disappointed in how quickly the cartridges needed replaced at a considerable expenses.

I've tried many different makers of ink cartridges for our Epson Stylus Color 740 printer, which still works perfectly, but although the others were cheaper, they were either poor color quality or didn't contain much ink, or dried up altogether.

This inkjet cartridge produces excellant color photo prints and graphics. I was unable to find it at Office Depot, but Staples still carries it for those of us who are not frequent printer users and keep our old printers for a long time.

use of branded toner / ink keeps the printer in better condition as it doesn't spill into the workings of the printer. refilled and off brand cartriges may not fit to full specs, and can leak into the mechanical areas of the printer.

Hope Epson keeps making this older printer cartridge available. I do a lot of music publishing on an old PowerMac G3 with OS9.2 system. It is such a dependable workhorse. There are no new printers that are compatible with a Mac OS9 computer, so I'd be "up the creek without a paddle" if this printer cartridge were ever to be discontinued. Thanks Epson for sticking with us users of older printers. My old Epson 740i is an awesome printer for all the things I need. It has only need printer service once in nearly a decade of use. Marvelous!!!

I use this ink to print monthly billings and reports
My printer is getting old and been used to the extreme. Occassionally I get ink streaks after the printer has set for awhile, but I think this is a build up from long time use.

My Epson printer is appx 20 years old but still is working perfectly. Unfortunately the replacement cartridges are so expensive, but as long as my printer is working, I guess I'll continue to purchase the cartridges.

Basically the same comments as for the black ink. I go through this cartridges fairly often and naturally wish they cost less. I make duplicates of a lot of documents for keeping.
