I have used epson printers and ink since 1994. I produce and duplicate DVD videos and have printed 10s of 1000s of DVD labels and print on discs. I always had great results and my clients always take notice. I wish Staples would carry the multi pack of the ink in the store so I could buy them locally and help the economy in my community. However I still buy the more expensive single cartridges in Silverdale, WA.

This ink cartridge produces clear images with good color, it lasts as far as it doesn't fade or smudge and the color stays vivid and seems true. It produces a very good end product. I go through them way too fast however. They cost a bit more and it can get expensive if you have a big project to produce. They are easy to install and seem to be readily available. I have not had any of the cartridges I have purchased be defective in any way. They don't leak. I have been happy overall with the quality.

The quality of the product is great. I love the richness of the color. My only concern is the cost of the cartridges. My printer takes 6 cartridges, and when one goes out nothing works. Refillable or lower cost ink would allow me to purchase more ink. Now I minimize my uses to extent the time between having to buy more ink. Not offering refillable products limits the time a potential life-long customer may stay with this model or printer, due to the overall cost to maintain the printer and supplies. If you do not need to print frequently then the number of cartridges is ok. For frequent printing no.
